So, we did it yeayy! After a month of discussion and several late night meetings, we finally win Excellence Prize in Big Data Competition For Sustainable Cities and Urban Communities 2016 held by UN Global Pulse. I’m proudly present you to this two young pretty ladies who inspire me a lot and always spread some positive energy.
Pravitasari and Gita!!
A few months ago, I was asked to accompany Ita and Gita to Tangkuban Perahu. They were doing some research about tourism accessibility for the disables. Later they proposed an idea to some sociopreneurship competition about Captour which stands for Capable Tourism, an act to provide tourism for everyone, especially the disable.
Unfortunately, their brilliant idea didn’t make it to the competition. But the idea itself is still waiting to be manifested.
In May, I saw a competition leaflet. It is Big Ideas Competition For Sustainable Cities and Urban Communities 2016 held by UN Global Pulse. I read the booklet and I think that the proposal wouldn’t be so hard to create. So I ask Ita and Gita to join the competition as a team and we discussed about topic we should proposed. Later we chose this idea, Tune Map – Mapping accessible pedestrian routes for people with visual impairments in Bandung.
Of course for Ita dan Gita, this is not a new idea since they’re deeply concern about the mobility for the disables. Me? I think I’m a great catalyst. It is a great honor for me to be able to work with such brilliant peoples. Those who’s never stop spreading the positive vibes.
So here we are, Excellence Prizes Winner of Big Ideas Competition for Sustainable Cities and Communities.I praise Allah for this Ramadhan Kareem, Praise Him for this blessing. I’m really proud to be part of the team, and I’m looking forward for our next project. Lezgooo!
